The silent void is where we all live despite our knowing it. We are all floating through emptiness and nothing although we'll deny it over and over, up and down, round and round.. until we die. This void is where I spend my days and nights recently. Oddly, it is beginning to feel more and more like home. So THIS is where I come from. THIS is where I begin and where I must return to recreate my existence. From this void sprang life and to this void I return often as things die and dissolve in front of me everyday. No point in resisting because resisting leaves me blind to the opportunities that grow out of the dead. Sige is here to teach me that it's not JUST death in this void despite it's appearances. The void turns us into God and Goddesses. The void empowers. It may feel empty because it is, but emptiness and space can be filled. That is the beauty of nothing... tangible matter does not give us this wild opportunity. You must beleive you CAN create before you'll ever be able to. Most of us just swim around the void wishing we had the power to control our own life. We hate ourselves too much to claim our equality with the God's. There's nothing selfish in loving yourself and knowing your power. All it takes is a little faith in yourself -- believe that you are a miracle because you ARE. So be that and do it... wake up and be the Goddess that you are. We are here to create! How will you make your existence? I have done well accepting death and living with it... in it, etc. But this place of silence and nothingness is also where creation begins. Now I can begin to create my life. My slate is wiped clean and I am reborn anew and pure. Where will I go, what will I create, who will I touch, who will I become and how will the story end? To quote a favorite movie of mine... "I don't know... it's a mystery." And really that is the best part. I'm ready to watch this ride unfold... and I have no doubt that the plot will be as gripping and great as the ancient epics.

Sige is the Gnostic representation of the great silence from which life sprang forth. For me, Sige represents the feminine aspects of our existence the intuitive knowledge, the seeking within, the inner life forces that are such a great part of our spirituality. Without seeking within, we would not know enlightenment. She is within each of us, She is the great silence that speaks so loudly to us. She is the silence from which our power comes. She is the silence from which our inspiration is born. She is.
