HATHOR: A goddess of many things, from the celestial to the alcoholic! She was a celestial goddess, The Mistress of Heaven. A goddess of love, music and beauty, cheerfulness, and dance. She was known as the Mother of Mothers and the Celestial Nurse who presided over women, fertility, children and childbirth. Hathor is also a goddess of death and offers comfort to the newly dead as they pass into the after-world. One of the tales of Hathor was how she was originally a goddess of destruction (Hathor-Sekhmet), and how she came to be the goddess of happier things.....

Hail Bast! Bast is the Egyptian Goddess and protector of cats, women and children. She is Goddess of sunrise. Her goddess duty changed over the years, but, she is also known as a goddess of love, fertility, birth, music and dance.
